I’m Thandiwe Ogbonna, professional tutor and owner of A Helpful Tutor. I help students of varying ages identify and achieve their academic goals. I also help students and parents create and implement long-term academic plans.

In more than 8 years as a tutor, I have assisted hundreds of students in improving grades, building study skills, and navigating their educational experiences. I’ve worked with students both online and in-person.

My qualifications include over 8 years of experience as a tutor, with over 5 years tutoring online. I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from Virginia Tech with a Mathematics minor. I have worked in both one-on-one and classroom settings.
